Back to the Future Film To Receive A Manga By One-Punch Man Artist.

One-Punch Man artist Yuusuke Murata revealed Thursday at the Ready Player One film “celebration event” in Tokyo that he will launch a manga series based on Back to the Future Film, the 1985 American science-fiction film starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd.

The Back to the Future manga will be published on the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Web site at a date to be announced later. Murata also said the first compiled book volume might be released on April 20.

Directed by Robert Zemeckis and written by Zemeckis and Bob Gale, Back to the Future follows teenager Marty McFly, who is sent back in time to 1955 during an experiment with his scientist mentor Emmett Browna. Now Marty has find the young Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown to help him return to the future.

Back to the Future grossed over $381 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing film of 1985. The film received two sequels, Back to the Future Part II (1989) and Back to the Future Part III (1990), as well as an animated series, theme park ride, and several video games.
