Mob Psycho 100 Manga Series To End This December.

Mangaka ONE announced on Tuesday that his supernatural webmanga “Mob Psycho 100” final chapter will be published on Shogakukan’s MangaONE app on December 22.

ONE began publishing Mob Psycho 100 on Ura Sunday in 2012, before debuting on Shogakukan’s mobile app MangaONE in 2014. The manga series received an anime TV show adaptation by BONES which aired between July and September 2016. A live-action series adaptation of the series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in January 2018. The webmanga series currently has 15 compiled volumes in print, and also won the 62nd Shougakukan Manga Award in the shounen category.

Shigeo Kageyama is an average middle school boy, nicknamed Mob for lacking a sense of presence. Although he looks like an inconspicuous person, he is in fact a powerful esper. As he grows older, Mob realizes that his psychic powers are strengthening and becoming more dangerous. To avoid his power getting out of control, he constantly lives a life under an emotional shackle. Mob wants to live a normal life just like the others, but a barrage of trouble keeps coming after him. With the suppressed emotions growing inside Mob little by little, his power threatens to break through its limits.
