The first teaser trailer for the Snyder Cut of Justice League is finally here! The posted by Zack Snyder on Twitter shows Diana Prince insider a cave with painting telling the first arrival of Darkseid on earth. We can hear Lex Luthor’s (Jesse Eisenberg) ominous monologue from the final scene of the theatrical version in the background before cutting to a scene of Darkseid and his Apokolips force getting ready to invade the earth.
The trailer comes after it was revealed that Zack Snyder and the cast of the film will attend the first-ever DC Comics Fandom event taking in August. Zack Snyder announced during his Man of Steel watch party today that the film will be released on HBO Max in 2021.
Snyder stepped down to deal with the death of his daughter. The Avenger’s director Joss Whedon was hired to oversee the completion of post-production, including directing additional scenes written by himself. Justice League bombed at the box office grossing around $657 million, with Warner Bros. reportedly losing $60 million. With an estimated production budget of $300 million, Justice League is one of the most expensive films ever made.
