Devilman and Hellboy gets crossover illustrations from creators.

Devilman creator, Go Nagai, and Hellboy creator, Mike Mignola, both drew crossover illustrations to promote the release of Hellboy: Rise of the blood queen in Japan. Nagi illustration sees Devilman and Hellboy getting ready to face Nimue the Blood Queen and Sirene. Meanwhile, Mignola did a black-and-white illustration of both characters.



Go Nagai launched Devilman manga series in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 1972. An anime series adaptation by Netflix premiered in 190 countries simultaneously on January 5, 2018.

Created by Mike Mignola, HellBoy made his first comic book debut as a prototype in Dime Press #4 (March 1993), before making his first appearance in Next Men #21 (December 1993). He was portrayed by Ron Perlman in 2004’s Hellboy movie and Hellboy II: The Golden Army, and by David Harbour in 2019’s Hellboy reboot.
